Habitat Research
Please follow the steps below to conduct your research.
1. First you will need to click on this Habitat Graphic Organizer. This organizer will ask you to make a copy in your Google Drive. You will only need one habitat graphic organizer for both of you. Please only create one then share it with your partner.
2. You and your partner will find information about each of the Georgia habitats and write down four facts about each habitat in the habitat graphic organizer.
3. Then choose two animals and two plants from that habitat to find information about and write the information on the graphic organizer under that habitat. Please include information about a special adaptation that your plant and animal has and how that adaptation helps it survive. Remember that the animals and plants must live in the habitat you are researching.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each habitat region. You may use the resources on this website, your habitat note sheets, or any other resources you have.
